Latin
name:
Dracaena deremensis michiko
Common name:
Michiko cane
Light requirements:
Low to Medium
Dracaena Michiko is a fabulous low
to medium light plant that is imported from Hawaii.
Dracaena Michiko's foliage is held
tighter to it trunks than most of the other Dracaena's making it an
excellent choice for narrow or tight spaces. Hawaiian
plants generally cost more than a plant of comparable size grown in
Florida. Even though Hawaiian Dracaenas are pricier than those
grown in Florida... they have added advantages such as:
- Mature root systems that fill
the container which provides a greater life expectancy.
- A large... full-grown plant in a
small container lowering your decorative container costs.
- Most Hawaiian plants are tall
and columnar... requiring very little square footage to live in.
