Latin
name:
Ficus binnendijkii Alii
Common name:
Saber Ficus
Light requirements:
High
The Saber Ficus was one of the
first major breakthroughs in Ficus breeding during the mid 80's. Its long graceful leaves
gently point downwards giving the tree a bit of an Asian look. Saber
Ficus tolerates lower light levels than most of the small leaved
Ficus. On average 125 to 200 foot candles will do nicely. Pictured
is a 12" Ficus Alii with a braided trunk. We
have Ficus Alii available in several height ranges with standard or
braided trunks as well as several sizes of bushes. |
